Teaching Analytics & Trends to my Four Year Olds

I don’t generally write about my kids on this blog, and save that for Facebook, etc. but this was cute and relevant to the blog theme:

It’s night time, and one of the twins is trying to propel herself from a dresser into her bed in a dangerous-looking maneuver. I say, “Sweetie, you’re going to get hurt, let’s stop, OK?” She looks at me and says, “Dad, how do you know that?” “Well, I don’t exactly know it, but I can see trends.”

She looks at the floor. “Daddy, I don’t see any trends on the floor, where are they?”

Then I let them both look for trends  for 5 minutes before tuck in time 🙂
